Sunday School For all ages
Meeting at 10:45 on Sunday mornings at the Cleora Community Church, Sunday school teaches children Bible stories, scriptures, prayer and traditions to increase their spiritual foundation.
Learning through active participation in the Bible stories develops a foundation of faith. Children are encouraged to reflect on what these stories mean, today in their lives.
Children learn scriptures that can provide truths for every situation they encounter. Scriptures can challenge, comfort, encourage and sooth a person’s spirit. This is true for children as well. With a solid foundation of scripture, children are able to draw on these truths when they are needed.
Children learn that prayer is a conversation with God. They will learn that they can pray anywhere and at anytime. They will learn the Lord’s Prayer and other basic prayers to help them get started.
