Teaching Children about God
At Grace Point UMC, we want the children in our ministry programs to learn that God loves them unconditionally. As a result of this love they can depend on God to be with them always and through anything. With this foundation, children can begin to build a relationship with God that will carry them through the toughest times of their lives. We feel that a child’s spiritual health is as important as their physical health.
Our ministries help children to build a strong, growing relationship with God through Bible stories, prayer, reflection and fun! Each program targets a specific area in the development of a child’s relationship with God, other Christians, and the church. When a child participates in all of the ministries his/her spiritual health builds and becomes strong. When a child has a strong spiritual wellbeing he/she is able to overcome and respond to life’s difficulties in a healthy manner.
