Children’s Sunday School

Sunday School For all ages Meeting at 10:45 on Sunday mornings at the Cleora Community Church, Sunday school teaches children Bible stories, scriptures, prayer and traditions to increase their spiritual foundation. Learning through active participation in the Bible stories develops a foundation of faith. Children are encouraged to reflect on what these stories mean, today in their lives. Children learn scriptures that can provide truths for every situation they encounter. Scriptures can challenge, comfort, encourage and sooth a person’s spirit. This is true for children as well. With a solid foundation of scripture, children are able to draw on these truths when they are needed. Children learn that prayer is a conversation with God. They will learn that they can pray anywhere and at anytime. They will learn the Lord’s Prayer and other basic prayers to help them get...

Adult Sunday School/Bible Study Many Ways to Make a Difference Every Day of the Year The teaching ministry of the church offers the best opportunity for evangelization. Our Bible study is not a minor interest; it is a major enterprise. For years the Sunday school/Bible study is at the very root of the religious life. The Adult Sunday school/Bible study will always be a source of help and hope, for all our community needs, big and small.  We are committed to finding innovative ways to meet the changing needs of our communities and to extend a helping hand to assist others. Most of all we like to focus on God’s Word first then our friendship and fellowship. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.” (Psalm 37:23) We all must remember that we are headed in the right direction when we walk with...

Children’s Ministries

Teaching Children about God At Cleora Community Church, we want the children in our ministry programs to learn that God loves them unconditionally. As a result of this love they can depend on God to be with them always and through anything. With this foundation, children can begin to build a relationship with God that will carry them through the toughest times of their lives. We feel that a child’s spiritual health is as important as their physical health. Our ministries help children to build a strong, growing relationship with God through Bible stories, prayer, reflection and fun! Each program targets a specific area in the development of a child’s relationship with God, other Christians, and the church. When a child participates in all of the ministries his/her spiritual health builds and becomes strong. When a child has a strong spiritual wellbeing he/she is able to overcome and respond to life’s difficulties in a healthy manner.
